A garden with a family tree at the center.

Trees have always been important garden elements. They add color and winter interest. They give birds a place to next and gardeners shade to rest in.

Parker’s Flowers grew out of the Parker family tree. Christine and Mickey Parker began to fill their greenhouses and N. Comrie Avenue storefront with vibrant flowers in 1988 as a means to finance their educational expenses. Over the years, the business has become a valued local resource for gardeners and plant lovers in Johnstown, New York and the surrounding counties.

In October of 2013, Christine lost her courageous battle with cancer. Though the business will never be the same, the family honors Christine’s memory by continuing to spread joy through the beauty of plants.
